I WAS OUT IN A PADDOCK WITH MY MATES WITH MY 250 TIMBERWOLF(ATV) AND WE WERE JUST DOING SOME MASSIVE JUMPS. WITHOUT HELMETS WHICH NEARLY COST MY LIFE. ANY WAY I HAD JUST LANDED A JUMP WHERE I GOT SOME MASSIVE AIR AND LANDED IT I TURNED AROUND AND HEADED BACK DOWN THE HILL. I THOUGHT I'D BE A BIG SMART ASS AND STAND ON THE SEAT SO I GOT UP THERE AND THEN GOING DOWN HILL I LET GO THE HANDLEBARS AND. OF COURSE I BUILT UP SPEED HIT A BUMP FLIPPED OF ROLLED FOR A BOUT 20 METERS. I THOUGHT I WAS SAFE SO I LOOKED UP ONLY TO SEE THE FOUR WHEELER ROLLING AFTER ME AND THEN IT LANDED ON MY ARM AND I SAW IT BEND UP WHERE IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO. ME AND MY MATES WALKED 1KM BACK TO THE HOUSE AND THEN WENT TO THE DOCTORS THEY SAID TO COME BACK THE NEXT DAY FOR SURGERY. SO THEY SENT ME HOME FORGETTING TO GIVE MY PAIN KILLERS. SO YOU GUESSED HOW MUCH PAIN I WAS IN.

Hi,
We are a New York City casting agency looking for free-spirited male and female extreme sport athletes who are willing to travel overseas at a moments notice (July). The people chosen will be part of a TV adventure series.
Into a unique region we will thrust a group of youthful travelers, inviting them to share a chalet during the peak of the winter season. We will spend a season inside their lives and on their adventures.
We are looking for youthful, not necessarily young people with a variety of skills/interests, with one or more main abilities but who are willing to experiment.
Characters will be chosen for energy, willingness to try anything and all-round vivacity and love of life. We will share their growth as they push their boundaries, challenge conventions and seek truths about themselves and the world they inhabit.
These travelers will bring a sense of wonder for the incredible surroundings, a desire to experience all that the region has to offer as well as abilities in different disciplines.

Hey I'm from St. Marys PA. I don't know if you guys ever heard of this little town or not! Well anyways I have a 250 R four-wheeler & every summer ther is a drag race at th St. Marys airport! Well I decided to enter it. So I was there that July day when I went to HELL!!! I raced against a Bashee on that day. Let me tell you, things didn't go to well! I hit about 70 mph when I suddenly lost control & I went flying past the finish line & hit a ditch!! Let me tell you that was the end of my 250R!!! IT PISSED ME OFF! I skidded acrost the field for about 20 yards. I'm sure glad I had a helmet or I don't think I would be here today! I suffered a broken ankle, wrist, elbow, & I tore my cartlidge in 2 different places!!! I also had 143 stiches in my 1 leg!! Well if any of you people want to know more,or want some tickets E-mail me!! They also race Crotch Rockets, hot rod cars,& motorcycles!! So please E-mail me!!!

ME AND ABOUT FIVE OF MY FRIENDS WERE DOWN HILL RACING ON THE MOST HARD CORE TRACK I'VE EVER SEEN. I NEVER HAD MY AGGRESIVES SO I WENT ON MY FRIENDS WHICH WAS A BIT STUPID SEEING THEY WERE ABOUT TWO SIZES BIG FOR ME. I STARTED AND GOT TO A SPEED ABOUT 35 MPH WHEN SUDDENLY MY BLADE WENT INTO A POT HOLE AND I TOOK MY BIGGEST STACK EVER. I FELL ON MY SIDE SMACKED MY HEAD FULL PELT ONTO A SOLID CONCRETE ROAD ROLED OVER EIGHT TIMES ABOUT 4 METRES BROKE MY ARM AND GAVE MYSELF THE NASTIEST CUT I'VE EVER SEEN I'VE JUST STARTED MY X-TREME LIFE AGAIN.

I roadrace motorcycles, yea the guys who drag there knees, one day I got a ride on a Honda RS250. All went well for the two morning practices and first race, the exitement started in the Formula 2 race. The first three laps went fine, but on the fourth lap, in turn 13, I got the backend out, way out. you have to understand the average speed through that turn is at least 55. I was scared to death, the backend just kept sliding. Finally, the backend hooked up and shot the front end back around. Ended up that I finished second in the race...not bad for the first time on the bike.

it was a cold mid january morning.it had been snowing all night so i was eager to get on the slopes. i was on the first lift up all the way to the top.It was still snowing and very foggy it was a compleate white-out. i could barely see my mates as they were going down. I hit a huge kiker that i hadn't seen ,it sent me flying into the air i must have been 30ft luckley i landed in 9 feet of virgin powder this broke my fall. However i couldn't move due to the weight of snow. i lay there for about an hour trying to get out then i herd a pieste basher comming from behind me i yeled at it to stop but it carried on it when over my leg and crushed it after 2 weeks in hospital i found out it had to be amputated!!!

I was out waterskiing in the middle of July in Wales 98. The weather was fucking scorching, the sea was quite a crowed place as everyone had come to watch the Powerboat Offshore Racing. My buddy and i were skiing pretty close to the shore so that everyone could see us. We were pulling some rad moves.So rad in fact i went to jump this wave and flew about 15 feet up in the air.I pulled a double twist and grab.I must have travelled about 25 feet.It felt like i was never gone land, but eventualy i did.I landed with a loud thud, i landed on one of the marka bouys for the powerboat race. It knocked me clean out,breaking my collar bone, right arm and my leg.Boy that would have been one Muther Fucka of a jump if i had landed it.My mates dived in and dragged me out to safety.I can't wait to try it next year, and yes i am gonna pull the move off.

This is a story not for he lighted hearted, but more for the birds. I was climbing my first ever lead with a mate of mine up at Morialta, Adelaide. Got five sixths of the way up and decided this was all to easy. I executed a perfect body jam into this narrow chimney (look Kevin. No feet, no hands, no fucken brains)
I went to crank out of the crack, slipped on some lichen and done a great impersonation of Superman tyring to fly whilst holding a bucket full of kryptonite. Pulled most of my pro from the rock on my down into an olive tree 14m below.
Made a fucken mess of the tree, and made a worse mess of myself. I turned to look at my mate, and asked if he got it on film (He didn't!) and under his advice turned to look at my side, ( I was still face up stuck in the tree) to find a shit load of blood on my shirt and a branch sticking right through me. I had fucken impailed myself. I Done a John Rambo and pulled the stick out ( it just went through the soft bit of flab on my side) only to find another stick inside of me next to it. I pulled that out. Climbed out of the tree and redone the climb. I ruined and perfectly good shirt and my mate got plaseterd in blood as he followed my lead cleaning the gear up.
Just as a supplement, I cratered again 12 months later , ended up in hospital, and again 3 months after that and eneded up inemergency again. Not bad hey!!!!

A few of my friends and me were doing huge backflips off of a jump we built. I had done a couple and landed them all. i was pumped. then i did one right before we left. all of a sudden i was out of control and i landed on my head and back. my board hit me in the back of the head. when i woke up i was soaked in blood and i couldnt move. i ended up getting about 40 stiches and a concusion!!!

I was body boarding at Sandy beach(ohau). I put down my board and decided to body surf. The waves were four feet and peeling right. I saw a wave coming in it looked awesome so I swam for it. I made a huge drop and got locked in. I got pitted in this mental barrel I must of spent 5 seconds in the tube. The wave spit me out the back and I went in and saw my friend and he was like, "brah, you just had a huge wave I didn't think you would make that drop." I was so happy.

I was boogieboarding with a couple of buddies and my girlfriend at Makaha (Hawaii) when I got rolled and dumped right on my head. I was lucky enough to smash into the sand instead of the coral but when I stood up my sight was tilted and I kept collapsing. I saw everyone running out to help me and when they got me on the beach my girlfriend noticed some blood trickle out of my ear. She got hysterical (anyone surprised?) and wanted me to go to the hospital. So in typical male fashion I called into work and took the night off. The scariest part about this story is that I ended up marrying her. Hmmm....brain damage?

I was having a race down a ski run with a friend and it was nearly the finish, with him having a fair lead. I though I would take a bit of a short cut around a corner, and then drop down a small cliff onto the ski run. As I began the short cut, I saw that there were heaps of trees blocking my way, so I turned along a thin path that was already there. Unfortunately for me, there had just been a lesson for experts there, so the ground had huge holes dug out of it to make it a challenge for the good skiers. So there I am, bouncing along, completely out of control, heading towards a much higher part of the cliff. I finally manage to turn, and get in the centre of the path, when a jump appears before me. I had to go over it. After ages of air, I landed just in front of a huge tree. I turned right, just missing it, and went straight off a 30-feet cliff that I didn't see.
I crashed through a few trees, and hit the ground.
I broke my left leg in two places, and dislocated a finger (don't ask me how!), but otherwise, I was fine.
My friend found me after about half an hour, and then got the ski patrol.
I went straight to hospital and haven't skiied again.

I was street lougeing whith som of my frends one day. we were going down a one and a half mile long road. We had gone down a cuple times already. I was going to go again when my freind(who is driving a van behind me) says that I forgot my helmet. I just blew it off and went. about half way down(as my freind in the van sees that I am going 35 MPH) my weel desides to come off. Throwing me four feet in the air. I landed back on the board and it threw me up again. This time I Landed on the pavement. I roled into a ball eventualy coming to my feet. I had scrapes all across my back and knee. luckly I had no head injurys. I went to the skate shop and bought new barings and went out again.

I was MTB down some awsome tracks, during summer (australia). I was with friends, so naturally I wanted to impress, especially as I am a lot smaller than they are. Anyway, we were going doen this hill pretty quick, and we noticed something that we thought could be a drop. The others slowed down heaps, so they could pull up and examine the drop. So, I decided that this was the perfect oppertunity to show them that size doesn't matter. I didn't slow down one bit, and shouted at them, "What are you doing? The drop won't be very big". So, in all my glory I sailed over the edge doing the best trick I could think of at the time. They said it looked unreal, but it didn't feel it as I looked down at the 30m drop and piles of rocks and stones at the bottom. I survived - just- with a broken left arm (in 4 places), in total 56 stiches, a shattered ribs and concussion - I was better after 1 month in hospital. Anyway, it didn't stop me from still trying to show off to my friends who are still bigger! At the time I was 14 years old, now I'm 15, so it wasn't so long ago.

I was out in the surf at 13th beach. Me and my cousin were riding some pritty sick barrels, weren't very big but full of energy. I was watching some surfers on the other side when this sneaker wave after a set had passed freakly grabbed me and wiped me out for ages. I was laying on the shore and these two people ran over as they thought I was dead but I was just washed up. I had blood that looked like I had been eaten by a shark but it was only a little cut from my board but it looked gnarly!!!!

was riding my skateboard at the local skat park in fairy meadow (australia) and it was comp day,there was 100's of people there ,some american pro's some aussie pro's and a hell of a load of hot chicks,then one of the aussie pro says the first one to board slide the rail can have his complete skate board,so l had a go at it l was 3rd in line

t'i was out riding my mtb one day when i saw this heaps hot babe. i wanted to impress her so i rode down this hill and then went off a jump. i was in the air for what seemed like a lifetime. the babe would have been impressed if i a had landed it, but not everthing is like what you see in the movies - unfortunately. i ended up landing on this parked car and being knocked out.

i found out later that the chick called the ambulance for me.
2 months 34 stitches later i was ready to do in all again ..... not!

I was down the snow with some mates. We decided to have a race from the top of Perisher Mountain (in Australia) down to the bottom of the quad chair. There was four of us and I was coming third after about a minute, so I decided to take a short cut. I headed into a small gathering of trees. After weaving through those I came to a gap of about 2 metres where the water had dug a trench in the snow. A side wards glance revealed that I was winning the race, so my only option was to try and jump the 2m gap. In the seconds leading up to the jump, I though that I was going to make it, but as my snowboard quickly got wedged into the snow halfway down the gulley my thoughts changed. Going from about 40 km/h to 0 in a second, snapped my left ankle and dislocated my shoulder, not to mention the 7 cm gash on my shin.

I would like to take this moment to thank the Persiher Blue ski patrol. ... by the way I lost the race!

I was out for an early surf one morn. I got a sic air of this 6 footer, but when I came to land my surf board fin placed itself nicely between my legs. The fin went through my wesuit and then through my genitals - oooouch!!!

The moral to this story is...... DON'T LAND ON YOUR BALLS!
